the past few months have been very eventful for us. we first of all had auditions for our show tru street angels. we had alot of people come out and audition and we give a big thank you to all of those people. and then last week the time had come and all the waiting was over. TRU STREET ANGELS HAD ARRIVED. after all the hard work and preparation it was here. we have to say that the show this year exceeded all our expectations. all the performers were great! professional a joy to work with. we have to say a huge thank you to the audiences on both nights that gave all the performers a reception. also weed like to give a big thanks to every one that helped out with every aspect of the show from the runners to the organisers. a special thank you goes to sharon, tamara, Imran, misha, emmah, jon, warren, lisa, greg, sereise, jazmin, marni, hope and cherrone.
we as a group would also like to thank the one and only ikeela sealey who managed to have the courage to keep going something that has touched the lives of so many people not just those in the group but everyone she comes into contact with. an inspiration to our group and the glue that holds us together lol finally but certainly not least weed like to give appreciation to our angel tyrone sealey. tyrone pushed the group forward far after he was gone and will still continue to for the unforeseeable future. what he believed the group stood for and the impact we could have has been in all our hearts along with our memory of him. tyrones story inspires people who have never met him to be more and aspire for more. that is his legacy along with tru street. we miss you and will forever love you

wooooow ok so im really sorry updating has been slow/non existant lol but i have been busy but dont worry the plan is for more attention to be paid to the blog from now on so to start with we have the videos from carnival that just went these are our videos and there of the whole showcase up close.
remember that we are performing for the real deal comedy jam on the 4th 5th and 6th of sept which is very soon so make sure you get your tickets

ok so just a quick one. Thank you to everyone who came out to support at birmingham carnival on sunday we had a great time performing and we thank you all for the cheering and what not. If u wernt there u missed out the day was diffinately on top we all enjoyed ourselves up there hope you did too

Yes that time of year has come again where the Real Deal Comedy Jam will be touring the UK! This is one not to be missed. So if you haven't seen it yet make sure u get your ticket. If you went last time I know you'll be the first in line. Hosted by Kat B, Starring Kevin J, Eddie Kadi, Def Comedy Jam and P - Diddy Bad Boy of Comedy top comedians David Arnold and Tony Woods. Kidz Class

Just to let you know that kids classes will be starting up on August 1st 10:30am - 11:30am. The class is for kids aged between 3 to 8 years young. The classes will be tailored for these ages so you will be able to see growth and progress. we hope to see you there visit for more info.

Hey party people just to keep you updated as is my job. Tru streetdance will be performing at artsfest on Sunday the 13th of September but we will make sure you are kept up dated on this. Also just to remind you we will be performing at teen jam on the 22nd of july which will be at club air this promises to be a good night so make sure your there! if you haven't already got your tickets make sure you don't leave it till its too late.

Hello everyone!
Just to let you all know that there will be a few changes around here soon. Starting with choreographer of the month as well as having some new videos uploaded but yeah that will come soon!
In the mean time i want to let you all know that tru streetdance will be performing at Birmingham carnival on the 2nd august which starts at handsworth park and finishes at perry park where we will be performing 3 showcases on the main stage so make sure u get down there and support us we guarantee you wont be disappointed!

summer school week long workshops!

Tru streetdance and sticky toffee are proud to present our first street dance summer school.
the week long celebration of the diverse aspects of street dance will be taking place from monday 10th august - friday the 15th august 2009.
the classes will be priced at £5 per class or £25 for all 5 sessions but make sure you get your places soon as there limited to only 30 places
